HEALTH & SAFETY RISKS

Rams

All risks are weighed and calculated in the planning stage of a project.

Risk assessments and method statements are used to employ control measures that reduce frequency, severity and probability of a risk as much as possible.

Site managers will monitor and update the RA & MS as the project evolves to maintain a safe and enjoyable workplace for all.

Accreditation: South Warwickshire Construction Limited have been accredited by CHAS & SMAS. We have been awarded Principle Contractor with SMAS Worksafe – Certificate No. 83557. We have demonstrated compliance with the CHAS standards in line with SSIP Core Criteria and UK H&S Legislation and has been awarded accreditation to the requirements of the CDM Regulations 2015.

SWC

Budget Risks

  • The budget is only achievable if all parties are co-operative in ensuring that packages are tendered to economically competitive sub-contractors and suppliers that are adept at undertaking projects of this kind.
  • Not getting competitive quotes. We will endeavour to provide a broad range of quotes on each package to ensure value for money.
  • A condensed programme. An unrealistic programme often does not leave room for the appropriate analysis of costs and design changes. This can lead to uncompetitive packages being let for expendiency and not for best value.
